How a referral works
Send me their name and a way to reach them, and tell me what they are trying to do. I will contact them, help them, and tell you when they are taken care of. There is nothing for you to do beyond the introduction.
Referrals are how this business is meant to work. If someone you know is buying, selling, relocating or simply wondering what their home is worth, the introduction is genuinely useful to both of us.
I will treat them the way I treated you. If I am not the right person for what they need, I will say so and point them somewhere better rather than take the appointment anyway.
